RAF Brampton Draft Urban Design Framework
The event is not currently available for consultation.
The purpose of the draft RAF Brampton Urban Design Framework (UDF) is to describe the main planning and design factors and requirements that developers must address in delivering a sustainable mixed use development within the RAF Brampton base once the RAF leave the site. It reflects the wider visual and landscape considerations as well as site specific opportunities and constraints. The framework will be a material consideration when determining any future planning applications on the site. The preparation of the draft UDF has been led by Huntingdonshire District Council with input from District Council Members, Brampton Parish Council, and landowners.
The consultation process will be publicised in Brampton, and an exhibition will be in the foyer at the Memorial Centre which can be viewed during the consultation period. District Council staff will be available at the exhibition on:
- Thursday 22nd September, from 2pm to 8pm
- Monday 3rd October, from 2pm to 8pm
and a Public Meeting will take place on Monday 12th September at 7.30pm at the Memorial Centre.
Following the consultation process, a final version of the UDF will be prepared and reported to Cabinet for adoption as council policy. Once adopted the UDF will be available from the Council's website.
