SHLAA Update: Market Housing: Discounted Sites
The event is not currently available for consultation.
The SHLAA Update for Market Housing is a technical study which identifies land which the Council considers is potentially suitable for residential development. The Council has developed a methodology to assess the potential for sites submitted by agents and developers to accommodate housing. The methodology and subsequent site assessments are consistent with Government SHLAA guidance. The SHLAA does not allocate land but forms an important part of the evidence base for the forthcoming Planning Proposals DPD and Gypsy and Traveller Sites DPD. In due course the Council will publish and consult on additional SHLAA updates focussing on provision of affordable housing through Rural Exceptions Housing and provision for Gypsy and Traveller sites.
