All local planning authorities are required to prepare a Statement of Community Involvement (SCI).
A draft Statement of Community Involvement has been prepared for consultation between 3 February 2012 and 16 March 2012. The draft sets out how and when people can most effectively get involved with the Local Plan and planning applications.
We want to ensure as wide a range of individuals and organisations as possible have an opportunity to be involved in planning issues.
This Statement of Community Involvement will be finalised following consideration of comments by Cabinet. It will then replace our 2006 Statement of Community Involvement.
