With publication of the Proposed Submission plan the plan preparation process moves from the consultation phase into the testing phase. At this stage the Council believes that the plan is ready to be submitted and therefore publishes it in order to gather comments on whether the plan is sound and legally compliant. The comments are used by the Inspectorate in their consideration of the plan documents. The comments are therefore collated, summarised and submitted with the plan documents. The Council can make changes before submitting the plan but is not obliged to.
This Final Sustainability Appraisal (Final SA) continues the Sustainability Appraisal process with consideration of the changes to the plan since the Preferred Approach.
Please note this Final SA includes the Non-technical Summary for the SA and the Equalities Impact Assessment.
