Huntingdon West Area Action Plan Draft Final SA Non-technical Summary

This report comprises the non-technical summary of the draft final Sustainability Appraisal which accompanies the Huntingdon West Area Action Plan Preferred Approach.

The purpose of the SA was to assist Huntingdonshire District Council’s Development Plans Team to prepare its Huntingdon West Area Action Plan (HWAAP) Preferred Approach for consultation by carrying out the following:

  • Identifying the key sustainability issues facing the District
  • Assessing the likely effects of the Preferred Approach on these issues
  • Putting forward recommendations that might mitigate against these effects
