Huntingdon West is likely to change dramatically over the next 20 years.  Re-routing of the A14 and demolition of the flyover could offer tremendous opportunities for environmental improvement and new development.

Huntingdon West offers the ideal opportunity for promoting environmentally friendly development providing homes, work and leisure close together.  Linked by excellent pedestrian, cycle and public transport routes.

Update

The Huntingdon West Area Action Plan was adopted on 23 February 2011 and now forms part of the Huntingdonshire Local Development Framework.  The adopted version is available below in ‘Supporting Documents’ of the Huntingdon West AAP Adoption read only event, along with the Inspector’s Report, associated appendices and covering letter.  The Adoption Notice and SA Adoption Statement will be added soon.
