The first stage in the process of a preparing a Development Plan Document (DPD) for Gypsy and Traveller Sites is identifying the issues. The issues document is looking for comments on a range of matters such as what criteria should be used to assess whether a site is suitable in terms of its location and what size of site would be best. It also seeks to find out if there is any land available which may be suitable to be developed for this specific purpose.
