Development Management DPD: Draft Proposed Submission

Following on from the Development of Options consultation at the beginning of 2009 we will be publishing the Development Management DPD for Proposed Submission in the spring next year.
Having considering the comments submitted and discussed the plan with the Council’s partners we have decided to make a number of changes to policies and the structure of the DPD. We believe these changes result in clear policies that are grouped together in a logical manner. They have enabled us to put appropriate emphasis on mitigating and adapting to climate change and to clarify the approach to seeking contributions from developers.
Before the proposed submission is published we would like your help with finalising the plan so we are seeking your views on this draft plan.
This will run for a much shorter time period than has been the case for more formal consultation stages but in all other respects it will run just like any other consultation event. We would appreciate it if you could submit comments here if at all possible. Please do not re-submit comments from previous consultation stages as these have been taken into account in producing the draft plan.
